The Pathway

Activities
The programme is initially aimed at the Kuils River communities such as Highbury, Danarand, Kalkfontein and Stellendale.
Aimed at the youth from any age – from the kiddies to the bigger ones, girls and boys.
Helmets are compulsory.
Basic skills development sessions aimed at the youth to engender a sense of confidence and safety while cycling. In addition to the introduction of basic handling skills and adherence of traffic rules, care for the bike and equipment will also be taught .
As the programme progresses the youth will be introduced to grass track cycling where racing will be introduced in a safe environment on a marked-out sports field.
Once the confidence levels have improved organised road rides within the community will be organised.
